Artist's Description
This painting is of the inaugural dance between President and Mrs. Obama. Barack Obama became the most powerful man in the world that evening and in this dance, acknowledged the source of his power. This strong couple is an inspiration to all Americans on how important it is to build one another up in life. This is less about politics than it is about love.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been experimenting with portraits and loosening up since I painted this. Adding fun colors would be interesting. BTW - He wore a bowtie at his inauguration ball.
