I live in an area that has many gated communities, to me less than welcoming to the visitor and indicating the false fears of those who live there. This is my metaphor that sometimes it is more beautiful outside of the gate (where diversity reigns) than behind the "protection" of the gate, where it is pristine yet bland.

I don't paint anything I have to explain.
