Artist's Description
The beach is my new happy place and my favorite beach is called Green Key. It is a small inlet on the Gulf of Mexico flanked on both sides with mangroves and covered in white sand. There is a small playground for the children and several pavilions. Usually there are only a few people, 20 at the most on the beach during the week when I go. The birds are not afraid of the people, almost coming up to eat out of your hand. It is an absolutely wonderful place to spend the day painting.
