Artist's Description
The Pithlachascotee River (known to the locals as the Cotee River) separates the towns of Port Richey and New Port Richey in Pasco County, Florida. Port Richey's Waterfront Park on the Cotee River is one of my favorite places to walk. I started this plen aire painting just before the Safer at Home order during the COVID 19 crisis began and quite frankly, I lost interest in it for a while. Luckily, I was able to complete it at my home. Now that the order has been relaxed a bit, I will once again, hopefully be able to enjoy my morning walks.
