Description
I believe that these ducks think that they are puppies. They are very friendly, not afraid of people at all, even begging for food. They have even "knocked" on my son's bedroom window in hopes that he would wake up and feed them. They eat bugs and small lizards and maybe fish from the lake behind our home. They wag their tails and make sort of a grunting noise and the males often fight over the females. Once ducklings are born, the mother often proudly parades her new family in front of us for approval.
