Description

Winters are definitely getting warmer than they were when I was a child. We had a small ice skating rink in our backyard made from vinyl pool liner and sides. We would fill it with about 2 inches of water and it would be frozen solid in a few days. We were able to skate from Christmas well into early March. When my children were growing up in Pennsylvania, we could not even use a metal sled with runners because the snow never got thick enough to support it.
