Artist's Description

I started this painting the day Ruth Bader Ginsberg passed and completed it upon hearing that no one was charged in the murder of Breonna Taylor, a young woman who was shot sleeping in her apartment by police during a raid that was conducted in the wrong apartment. It expresses my deep sadness and frustration with the events of this year and during a very difficult week.
