Description

Every year during the weekend after the 4th of July, the Colorado Black Arts Festival is held in Denver's City Park. This is a venue that combines visual arts, culinary delights and the best music and dance performers in the city. This 3 day event is full of community love and support and is almost like a family reunion. I painted this plen aire piece at the 2017 festival. You can see the fountain with East High School off in the distance on the left side of the piece.
